Personality Matters

Becoming a thriving version of our sensitive self includes learning about the personality we were born with. I love personality tests. In the Enneagram system I often test as a 5, the Observer. In the Human Design system I'm a Responder. And paradoxically, in the 4 type DISC system I'm a Dominant or controller-type.

As I wrote in my first post, I came into life with both high sensitivity and a super strong will. Understanding my unique personality blend has helped me appreciate, accept, and work with the way I am naturally wired, instead of trying so hard to be something I'm not.

Each of us sensitives and empaths is a unique combination of strengths and vulnerabilities that is worth us exploring. In my experience, doing not just one but several personality tests, has helped me get a clearer and more useful picture of who I am and what I bring to this world.

What have you learned about your personality? What personality tests have you tried and found useful?
